Google 上訴影響 微軟 Xbox App 無法在 Android 上直接購買和串流遊戲

由於 Google 對法院裁決提出上訴，微軟無法如期在 Android 版 Xbox App 中開放直接購買和串流遊戲的功能。

微軟Xbox業務部門總裁Sarah Bond曾透露將於今年11月讓玩家可透過Android版Xbox App直接購買遊戲，或是藉由雲端串流方式遊玩遊戲，但在即將進入12月之際，此功能仍未正式推出。

而背後原因，實際上與Google有關。

當初Sarah Bond提及讓玩家可透過Android版Xbox App直接購買遊戲，或是藉由雲端串流方式遊玩遊戲功能，是基於先前美國法院裁定Google違反壟斷，必須向Epic Games在內第三方業者開放Google Play Store平台存取資源，，讓第三方業者可以更容易在Android平台提供軟體市集服務有關。

不過，Google在後續提出上訴，並且獲得法院批准要求暫緩執行相關調整命令，使得微軟原本計畫配合Google Play Store調整增加功能的時間受影響。

Sarah Bond表示，內部團隊已經將相關功能做好，目前僅需等待法院做出最終決定即可投入使用。

至於Google發言人Dan Jackson則回應表示，微軟跟Epic Games一樣忽略Google Play Store平檯面臨潛在安全威脅，強調Google將秉持現行作法，讓Google Play Store維持更安全的使用體驗。
